The Skaneateles Youth Soccer Organization (SYSO), is a recreational soccer league dedicated to teaching the game of soccer to both girls and boys from ages 4 - 12. The focus of our league is on learning and having fun. We strive to give players equal play
First, thank you for donating your valuable time to coach or assitant coach the children of our community. The goal of SYSO is to teach the game of soccer and allow the players to have fun while learning. We therefore do not post scores in order to keep this a non-competitive environment. Please focus on teaching and having fun over winning.
Should any incidents arise during the season, please contact the appropriate boardmember listed under the 'Boardmembers' tab above.
Also, we ask that you not take any new players until your coordinator has officially added them to your team after they have been properly registered.

General Information:
Game Format
U8 – 7 v. 7 (6 and 1 goalie)
U10 - 9 v. 9 (8 and 1 goalie)
U12 – 9 v. 9 (8 and 1 goalie)
Equal playing time for all players
Game Length
U8 – 48 minutes (4 12-minute quarters)
U10 – 60 minutes (4 15-minute quarters)
U12 – 60 minutes (4 15-minute quarters)
Uniforms/Equipment
Shin guards – provided by player
Cleats (recommended) – provided by player
Jerseys – distributed by size, as determined by coach, NOT number
Shorts – distributed by size, as determined by coach
Socks – distributed by coach
Parking
Bumblebees, U8 and U12 Field 1 – Austin Park or YMCA Skaneateles Community Center lot
U10 and U12 Field 2 – Old Rink lot – Jordan St. lot is for coaches and drop-offs ONLY
U12 Coaches
Goals need to be moved in to smaller field lines for 8:30 games and out to modified lines after 11:30 games.
