Welcome to Skan Soccer!
Welcome to Skaneateles Youth Soccer Organization (SYSO). Established in 1990, SYSO is an entirely volunteer-led organization that serves over 400 youth players each year from Skaneateles and surrounding areas. We are proud to offer an inclusive, community-based soccer program that supports early athletic development and teamwork.
Mission
The Skaneateles Youth Soccer Organization is dedicated to providing a fun and enriching soccer experience for children ages 4 to 12. We aim to foster a lifelong love for the game by teaching foundational skills in a supportive, team-centered environment that emphasizes positivity and sportsmanship.
Playing/Volunteering
Our fall season runs from early September through late October, with additional opportunities offered throughout the year.
SYSO thrives thanks to the dedication of parent and community volunteers. We welcome and encourage involvement—whether by coaching, assisting with field setup, or serving on our board. No prior soccer experience is required—just a willingness to contribute and support young athletes.
